It was after that one look at her grandchildren that Evelyn York made the decision to quit smoking forever, which had been a habit of hers since she was 16 years old. Now, at the age of 63, York, of Woodbridge, who smoked one-and-a-half packs of cigarettes a day, has not lit up a Newport menthol cigarette since April 11, 2007.
