Most of my life I was in a position of authority.  People listened when I spoke either because of my position or their desire for the paycheck I provided every Friday.

That part of my life is over at least in part due to COPD – a direct result of my inane habit of smoking tobacco cigarettes for 40 years.

I want you to listen to me now and I do not know how to make you do it.
