OKLAHOMA CITY -- Getting college students to quit smoking is the goal of a new bill at the State House. This week the state senate passed a bill which gives the Oklahoma Board of Regents clear authority to ban tobacco on any public college or university. Right now some universities, like OSU, already have a total ban of tobacco on campus; others, like OU, do not.

No Smoking Day message at college (This is West Country)

STUDENTS at Somerset College, Taunton, are making a stand against the hundreds of deaths from smoking in the county on No Smoking Day, Wednesday, March 10.

College students don't have much money, but they spend a fortune on cigarettes. I guess the ones who are considering quitting are doing so for financial reasons. Hooray for them. Whatever the reason to make them finally quit is a good one.
