Beijing resident Li Xinhua recently walked into a smoking cessation clinic in the city's Chaoyang Hospital. Compared to other outpatient clinics, which often have long lines waiting outside, the smoking cessation clinic was not very busy at all.

Ronald Flora, Ph.D, will be giving hypnosis clinics to help people lose weight or quit smoking. The weight-loss clinic will be at 6 p.m., and the smoking-cessation clinic will be at 7:30 p.m.

The session, which was organised by Berakas 'A' Health Centre, had three panel speakers, namely Dk Hajah Noralifpahwati bte Pg Hj Jaludin, Nurse in-charge from the Smoking Cessation Clinic; Dr Zurianah Hj Abd Karim, Senior Medical Officer in-charger from Berakas 'A' Health centre and Dyg Norsyahmun bte Hj Metassan, Clinical Psychologist from the Ministry of Health.
